A VERY WEIRD DREAM

Okay I had the weirdest dream and I really want to write it down so that when I'm old I can read my blog and be like "WOW I WAS A WEIRD KID." Okay so it starts off with me in a house, its not my house in real life, but it was the place I lived in in my dream. I had 6 siblings and we were all sitting around the dining room table eating dinner and the parentals were out of the house. Suddenly, I hear this knock at the front door. AND DREAM ME IS REALLY STUPID, because I just open the door. Outside are two of my classmates...who are holding mugs. But they're not very friendly looking (they're actually so nice I don't know why I imagined them this evil) but they run up the pathway to my house with these vicious looks on their faces and they're flailing their mugs around and somehow in the back of my mind I know they want to kill me and my siblings. And for some reason, I'm holding 2 construction worker helmets in my hand ( DONT ASK WHY I have no idea) an...

I feel like I'm the only one who reads my blog

AS WEIRD AS THIS SOUNDS, I feel like I'm the only one who reads my blog (which I know isn't true, because from what my page views tell me, I have had hundreds of people visit this webpage.) But that's how it feels. And honestly, its nice to have a little space on the internet where no one knows you and you can just rant about your likes and dislikes randomly. I'm probably the only one who reads my blog, but honestly THATS OKAY. In fact, ITS GREAT. I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME NOT TO. I CAN TYPE IN CAPS LOCK AND NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

Debit cards

So, I've been thinking a lot lately. I mean, I usually think a lot, but I guess I've had more thoughts recently. But one things for sure, I definitely don't think about things most teens think about.  I've been thinking about debit cards.  Now, I currently have a debit card, and when I first learned about debit cards, I thought they were a great idea. Not only would I be able to manage my own money, I could have my own cash card, and I would be responsible for every penny I spent. So I asked my mum and she agrees that there are pros and cons of leaving a kid responsible for a debit card, and so, today, I'm here to explain to you about debit cards and why or why not you should leave a child responsible for one (from a teens perspective) Pros: Debit cards can teach kids how to manage money (making sure they're not overspending) The exhilarating feeling of independence (liked riding a roller coaster, BUT BETTER) Prepares children for the future Cons: Easy t...

BOOKS I've been loving (and you should love them too)

I totally forgot about this blog. I KNOW IM A TERRIBLE PERSON.  I'm going to be completely honest, and tell y'all that I forgot I had a blog until I started reading other blogs and then I thought, "HEY! Don't I have one of these?" So here I am, back on my blog, hopefully going to blog something interesting today. But we'll see.   So I've been trying to read 100 books this year, which is a pretty tough goal. By completing this goal, I would have to read, on average, 1 book every 3.65 days. THATS PRETTY OVERWHELMING. But, I'm still going to try and do it. So here is a list of 4 books I loved reading, that you should try reading somedays. There are all in a variety of genres, because I've been dabbling (I LOVE THIS WORD) in different genres recently.  1. Escape from camp 14 Now this book BLEW MY MIND. For real. The book centres around a young man in North Korea, who is living in camp 14 (rumoured to be one of the toughest prison camps.) The p...
