Korean Dramas YASSSS
This past summer, I spent most of my time watching Korean dramas, I was feeling pretty introverted a lot of the time and preferred to spend time with my Korean BOYS <3. So Imma rant about some of my favourite dramas so that future me can watch these and cry like present me has just done. (These are not in a particular order.)
To the beautiful you:
It basically features an AMAZINGLY CUTE GUY called Choi Min Ho and wow his face was pretty good looking I must say. ;) There are some moments that are so cringe worthy because the characters always manage to embarrass themselves but its a good drama because the acting is so believable. There are many famous actors/actresses in this too, which was an added bonus. This whole series is about a high jumper who was injured and can no longer high jump as well as he used to. However, this girl believes that he has so much potential and decides to push him to continue high jumping, so she dresses up as a boy and pretends to be his roommate. TBH, I cannot describe this drama without describing it as creepy so why don't I just move on?
Dream High:
I do not have enough good compliments for this drama. It features two of my favourite actors, Kim Soo Hyun and Taecyeon, who both sing/dance/act wonderfully. This series revolves around the lives of kids at a music school as they work together to become successful KPOP stars. This was the first kdrama I ever watched and it definitely did not disappoint.
Moon embracing the Sun:
Not even kidding I cried for HOURS watching this drama. The plot is much too complicated to attempt to explain but I will try to give a brief summary. There is a young king who falls in love with this girl who he wants to be his bride however there is a plot to kill the girl because many people have worked hard to get the king to marry a separate girl so they plot to kill the girl he actually wants to marry. However, with the help of a shaman, she survives but forgets who he is. It is such a great love story and 10000% cheesey but that's what made it great. Featuring Kim Soo Hyun, who is such a passionate actor.
Boys over Flowers:
From a critics point of view, this was a bad drama in the sense that there were plot holes and some of the scenes were not 100% logical. But if you blur over those imperfections, this drama was absolutely gripping. The plot was a bit dull on its own, however the actors brought the script to life in such a great way. It is a typical high school kdrama, but it was so cute. This is another drama where there are plenty of hilarious moments, however, the sweet and tender moments are beautifully scripted and really added to the drama.
I hear your voice:
Its a lawyer drama, and to be honest, I never thought I would like one of these. This was a great drama, the plot was so complicated and twisted but it was SO ENTERTAINING TO WATCH. I want to watch this 31029381029383434 not even kidding. It follows the story of a boy whos father was murdered and a girl who witnessed the murder. They fall in love (no duh) but it was acted so well and directed so well and scripted so well I cannot stop complimenting this drama because it is so perfect.
