Hello from 2016!

Hello!! Ashley!! Or whoever else is reading this. Honestly, I just assume that I'm the only one reading this blog.... HAHHAHA... one day, if my friends find this, we can all have a laugh together. ANYWAYS, staying on topic, it's been a really long time since I updated (over a year!! wah!!) and things have really been a whirlwind. I guess a lot has changed since I started this blog a few Christmas's ago. But some things have also stayed the same. I guess, here is a life update :)

DEBATE 
So, this year hasn't really been my year. Don't get me wrong, I've been able to accomplish many things that I am proud of, but, what I failed to achieve was getting on Team Canada for debate. Although I can still get on the team when I'm in grade 12, I have been super discouraged from this loss. Honestly, I cried for months following. I guess the cheesey thing to say is that "THE LOSS WILL MOTIVATE ME" but I'm not sure that it will. Having faced very few losses in my life, I really don't know if it will.

BOTTOM LINE: I'll have to learn from this. Not succeeding sucks, but there are worst things in life. Like losing a presidential election!! or Losing in the olympics!! (RIO 2016 just happened so the olympics are fresh in my mind.)

CASUAL SIDE NOTE: THERE IS THIS BOY NAMED DREW-AN (BAHAHHA)  WHO IS SO SO SO SO SO mean. I don't know why I'm friends with him. FRIENDS???? IDK.

FISH 
Remember that time I made a dog post? A while back? WELL I STILL LOVE DOGS. But... I also love fish!! My aquarium currently has 5 neon tetras, a guppy, and a sunset platy. I'm hoping to get loads more fish in the future! JUST A COOL UPDATE. But my plant just died :( its very sad I know.

FRIENDS
I am still best friends with MOOSHOO and I have become very close to my debate friends as well. I've also be-friended many new people, like MS KOO JUNHOE and YIP YIP YIP. I feel very close to both of them, and I'm happy about that

Korean Dramas YASSSS

This past summer, I spent most of my time watching Korean dramas, I was feeling pretty introverted a lot of the time and preferred to spend time with my Korean BOYS <3. So Imma rant about some of my favourite dramas so that future me can watch these and cry like present me has just done. (These are not in a particular order.) To the beautiful you: It basically features an AMAZINGLY CUTE GUY called Choi Min Ho and wow his face was pretty good looking I must say. ;) There are some moments that are so cringe worthy because the characters always manage to embarrass themselves but its a good drama because the acting is so believable. There are many famous actors/actresses in this too, which was an added bonus. This whole series is about a high jumper who was injured and can no longer high jump as well as he used to. However, this girl believes that he has so much potential and decides to push him to continue high jumping, so she dresses up as a boy and pretends to be his roommate. TBH...

A VERY WEIRD DREAM

Okay I had the weirdest dream and I really want to write it down so that when I'm old I can read my blog and be like "WOW I WAS A WEIRD KID." Okay so it starts off with me in a house, its not my house in real life, but it was the place I lived in in my dream. I had 6 siblings and we were all sitting around the dining room table eating dinner and the parentals were out of the house. Suddenly, I hear this knock at the front door. AND DREAM ME IS REALLY STUPID, because I just open the door. Outside are two of my classmates...who are holding mugs. But they're not very friendly looking (they're actually so nice I don't know why I imagined them this evil) but they run up the pathway to my house with these vicious looks on their faces and they're flailing their mugs around and somehow in the back of my mind I know they want to kill me and my siblings. I feel like I'm the only one who reads my blog

AS WEIRD AS THIS SOUNDS, I feel like I'm the only one who reads my blog (which I know isn't true, because from what my page views tell me, I have had hundreds of people visit this webpage.) But that's how it feels. And honestly, its nice to have a little space on the internet where no one knows you and you can just rant about your likes and dislikes randomly. I'm probably the only one who reads my blog, but honestly THATS OKAY. In fact, ITS GREAT. I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME NOT TO. I CAN TYPE IN CAPS LOCK AND NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
